Music helped me to face life better: Amritha Suresh

Each time singer composer Amritha Suresh posts something on her social media, fans cheer her and love her for her genuine outlook in life.

When she first launched her single, Anayathe, the video song garnered applauds for its unique theme overcoming her personal struggle in real life.

Talking to a daily, Amritha opened up how her perspective towards life have changed over the years. “Life has changed me tremendously, but for good. From a girl who used to shed tears for little things, I could evolve into someone with a lot more courage to face life,” she said.

Further she added that it was music that drove her ahead in life inspite of all hurdles.

“I believe my passion for music has a big role to play in helping me become the bold person I am today,” said Amritha who is a single mother to 6-year old Avantika.

Amritha was married to Bala after participating in a music reality show in 2010 and later got divorced in 2017.

Earlier, in another interview, she, after launching her single had said, “This is most definitely my comeback. I don’t want to cry any more, I’ve done that for a long time. I am coming back and I want all the women to come back from the depths of their despair and prove what they can do.”

Amritha's recent song 'Minni Minni' from the film June was a hit and topped the chartbusters. She along with her sister and actress Abhirami is now busy with their band Amritham Gamaya with a few many shows across Kerala.
