Shane Nigam's song ‘Neela Nilave’s popularity is travelling beyond the borders. Tanzanian social media influencer Kili Paul’s version of this song is currently a sensation on social media. His sister Neema Paul is also seen drumming to the song in the video. The 19-second video has already got over 9 lakh views.

Manu Manjith who is the lyricist of the song shared it on social media with the caption—“Heartening to see a song you have written blurring the linguistic boundaries and getting celebrated." Sam CX has composed the album which was crooned by Kapil Kapilan. Meanwhile, Kili Paul and Neema are already familiar to Indians as they regularly recreate some of the popular Indian film songs on social media. Their energetic dance moves and expressions have many fans.They live in the interiors of Tanzania and make a living tending cows and doing farming. The siblings had a tough life and would make effective use of their work break by creating TikTok videos and Instagram reels. Initially, Kili used to perform solo. Neema joined him later.

It is said that they took four to five days to learn the language and pronunciation. They would google each word, understand the meaning, and do the videos. Kili has often said that it was gratifying to receive so much love from Indians. They have over 2.5 million followers on Instagram.
