Win. C's film 'The Face of the Faceless' enters Oscars race for 'Best Original Song'

The film 'The Face of the Faceless' featuring state-award winning actor Win C has entered the eligibility list for 'Best Original Song' at the Oscars. The songs 'Barala Tribal Song,' 'Ek Sapna Mera Suhana,' and 'Jalta Hai Suraj' composed by Alphons Joseph are in competition in the best original song and Best Original Score categories.

This development comes at a time when Malayalam movie '2018' is awaiting a nomination in the Oscars in the Best International Film Category, which will be announced on December 21. Actor Win C has shared the news about the Oscar nomination for 'The Face of the Faceless' on Instagram. “Happiest!', she wrote, while posting an update, captioned: It's official. She is considered as Indore Ki Rani for many. The film is also a lesson on forgiveness. Last year, 'Naatu Naatu' from the S S Rajamouli movie 'RRR' won the award for Best Original Song'.
