Would you dare try these bizzare chocolate flavours?

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy chocolate. And that's kind of the same thing, is an oft-heard chocolate adage.

Sweet-tooth or not, there is no denying the fact that a bit of chocolate could help your mood when 'life happens.' For a chocolate lover, the heaven bears a close resemblance to Charlie's Chocolate Factory. But even Charlie cannot imagine trying the wildest of flavours of this gourmet food.

Have you ever tried the green tea flavoured Kit Kat bar? As healthy as it sounds, it's definitely a no-go for most. What about a spicy version? Here we introduce you to the weirdest flavours of chocolate across the world. How many of these would you dare try?

Spicy chocolate

It may not be a bad idea after all. It's as simple as striking off the 'mint' from peppermint chocolate barks, right? Nope. Apparently, the spicy variants of chocolate recipes are made with red-hot chilli peppers, making your dessert treat a fiery one. It's quite a thing in Mexico as they would love to sip on a chilli pepper flavoured hot chocolate for their holidays.

Chocolate covered onion

Chocolate covered onions might be one of the oldest pranks in the book. Raw onions are dipped in melted chocolate just like strawberries to make it. This bizarre snack is sold by Mueller Chocolate Company in Philadelphia. As per the company, the snack is for the person who is 'sweet on the outside but nasty on the inside.'

Chocolate bacon

No, we are not joking. Chocolate-covered bacons are a thing apparently. Cooked bacon is dipped in chocolate and then garnished with sea salt and nuts to make this snack, which brings together two of America's most favourite things. It is popularly sold in fairs and street food stalls.

Camel's milk chocolate

After all, it is milk chocolate, right? Made right from the Arabian dreams, this decadent gourmet chocolate is one fancy dessert to have. The exotic dish is creamier and richer than the regular version.

Mushroom chocolate

If you can have chocolate flavoured popcorns, there is nothing wrong in going for mushroom chocolates. Sounds fair. Made with mushroom blends, these truffles and bars are probably more delicious than you would expect them to be. Just don't go for magic mushrooms, stick to the normal ones.
