The Calicut food fest is all set break records with these giant foods

Kozhikode: The two-day Parisons government food festival and cake show held at the trade centre in Swapnanagari here will feature some giant snacks and dishes. The event is organized by the Kerala Hotel and Restaurant Association in association with Round the Clock Innovations.

The Cochin Bakery organizes an exhibition of giant snacks to be considered for a record in the Limca Book of Records and the Best India Records as well. An 8-feet-tall Yule log cake, a huge vegetable cake, a 10-feet masala stuffed bread , a 1½-feet uunkaya and a mega pizza that is 70 feet long and 3 feet wide will be part of this unique exhibition.

These food items would be exhibited from 4 in the evening to 8 pm. Cochin Bakery chairman MP Ramesh and Veg Manthra MD P P Mukundan said that these giant food items would then be cut and distributed among to the public. The food fest is until 31st January. The entry is from 3 pm to 9.30 pm. The ticket rate is Rs 50 per head for adults. The entry for children up to 10 years is free.
