Pathiri is a quintessential Malabari dish which is cooked and served with lots of love. There are hundreds of varieties of the pathiri. This dish which has simple flavours can be enjoyed with or without curries. Try out this amazing egg pathiri which is easy to prepare.

Ingredients

2 cups raw rice
1 egg
Water as required
¼ cup boiled rice
4 papads
Salt as required

Preparation

Blend all the ingredients well in a blender
It should have the consistency of the idly batter
Allow the batter to rest for at least 2 hours
Heat oil in an appam vessel
Pour some batter and cook by flipping it
Take it off the heat when both side of the pathiri are cooked well.
