Ingredients
1 cup ponni rice/puzhungal ari (par boiled rice)
Salt as required
Water as required

Preparation
Soak the par boiled rice in hot water for at least 5 hours
Wash the soaked rice well
Grind the soaked rice in the grinder by adding two tablespoons water
Scoop a ball from the dough and spread it on a plantain leaf using your palm
Roast or bake on hot pan.
