Easily make variety of sandwiches in minutes! Now that the schools and colleges are back to business, there is always a dilemma on what can be made for the tiffin box. Don’t be despair. Here are four varieties of sandwiches that anyone can whip up in a flash. These sandwiches could be made for any meal and any time of the day, whether it is breakfast, lunch, brunch, evening snack or even dinner. There are both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Below are the recipes for the four different varieties of sandwiches:
Cilantro mint club sandwich
Ingredients
Three slices of bread (Whole Wheat or White)
For the green spread
1 cup cilantro
½ cup mint
1 small piece ginger
2 garlics
½ to one lemon
3 tbsp mayonnaise
Grated coconut
Salt as per taste
Preparation
In a blender, blend the above-mentioned items to make a smooth paste
Take 3 slices of bread and spread the blended paste and mayo (or butter) on alternate sides of the bread slices, club the three slices together, then cut it diagonally
Cilantro Mint Club Sandwich is ready!
Tuna sandwich
Ingredients
Two slices of bread (Whole Wheat or White)
For the tuna sandwich spread
2 cans chunk tuna light
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped lettuce
3 tbsp mayonnaise
½ to one lemon
Salt as per taste
Optional: ½ tsp pepper powder
Preparation
Take 2 slices of bread, spread the mix between the bread slices
Melt tuna sandwich
Along with the above Tuna sandwich mix, an additional cheese slice is clubbed between the bread slice and then grilled for about a minute to two. Melt tuna sandwich is ready to eat!
Egg Sandwich
Ingredients
Two slices of bread (Whole Wheat or White)
For the egg sandwich spread
3 eggs
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped lettuce
3 tbsp mayonnaise
½ tsp chilli flakes
Salt as per taste
Optional: ½ tbsp simulated bacon bits
Preparation
In a bowl, mix three chopped eggs with chopped onion, lettuce, 3 tbsp mayonnaise, 1/2 tbsp chilli flakes and salt
Add 1/2 tbsp of bacon bits for an extra taste (optional)
Take 2 slices of bread, spread the mix between the bread slices, cut it diagonally
Delicious egg sandwich is ready to enjoy!
