A no-eggs, no-oven mango-semolina cake

Here's a wonder cake, mango-semolina, to be precise! All you need is a ripe mango and a cup of semolina (rava). Here's how to make a no-oven, no-eggs, no-whipper sponge cake.

Ingredients
1 ripe mango
1 cup rava
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup milk
¼ cup refined oil
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ baking soda
2 tablespoon tutti frutti
Finely chopped cashew nuts, pista

Preparation
Blend together mango, rava, milk, sugar and refined oil
Mix well, cover and set aside for half an hour
Add in baking powder, baking soda, three tablespoons of milk and blend well
Dust tutti frutti with a bit of maida and set aside
Give the batter a thorough mix once again
Get a baking dish ready, cover bottom and sides with baking paper
Pour in the cake mix and sprinkle the nuts-pista mix atop the batter
Take a large steel vessel, place a stand within and cover the dish. Heat it for about 5 to 7 minutes over a moderate flame
Now place the cake mix on the stand, cover and leave it inside for about 40 to 45 minutes over a moderate flame.
