A lip-smacking, easy dried prawns chutney to enjoy with lunch

Dried prawns aka 'unakka chemmeen' can be made into a variety of dishes ranging from spicy powders and pickles to chutneys and curries, that can taste delicious with rice, chapathi, boiled tubers and even bread.

The savoury dishes made of shrimps aka prawns are also rich in protein, fiber, calcium, iron, sodium and more. What's more, its 'umami' taste also makes you you feel full for a longer time. Here's the recipe for an easy chutney made of dried prawns.

Ingredients
½ cup dried prawns
5 shallots
5 – 6 dried chilies
1 cup grated coconut
1 sprig curry leaves
2 bilimbi
Salt as required

Preparation
Grind all the ingredients in a mixer jar
Delicious dried prawns chutney is ready.
