Try this soy chunks fry that looks and tastes like spicy beef fry

Soy chunks is a versatile ingredient that could be roasted, fried or cooked into a delicious curry. Interestingly, it is an excellent alternative for beef as it looks like meat. Check out the recipe of crispy fried soy chunks that could be enjoyed as evening snacks, as a side dish with rice or breads, or as starters.

Ingredients
2 cups soy chunks
1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala
2 tbsp rice powder
1 tbsp corn flour
2 tbsp yoghurt
Oil to fry
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp fennel seeds
2 red chillies
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp curd
½ tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
½ tsp chilli powder
½ tsp cumin powder
½ tsp coriander powder
2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
3 tbsp oil
Salt as required
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves

Preparation
Marinate the soy chunks with salt and turmeric powder
Cook them for ten minutes in hot water
Strain them soy chunks and squeeze out extra water
Into the soy chunks add salt, chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, rice powder, corn flour and yoghurt
Mix well
Keep the marinated soy chunks in the freezer for at least an hour
You could use these whenever you want
After an hour, fry the soy chunks in hot oil
Heat oil in a pan
Splutter mustard seeds and fennel seeds
Sauté the red chillies, curry leaves, finely chopped ginger and garlic
Into it add curd
Now add coriander powder, cumin powder and Kashmiri chilli powder
Sauté well
Add the fried soy chunks
Mix well
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and toasted sesame seeds
Tasty and crunchy fried soy chunks are ready!
