The physical features of a person are closely related to the character, according to ‘Lakshana Sastra’, a branch of Indian astrology. As per Lakshana Sastra, size, shape and features of ears too reflect the fortunes, personality and character of a person.

Small ears indicate respect, good behaviour as well as affection. On the other hand, if the earlobes are thick, the person most probably has an emotional personality. Meanwhile, if the earlobe is round in shape, it may indicate that the person values relationships. However, a man or woman may display stubbornness if the earlobe is thick and raised a bit.

People with very small ears are seen to be shy and humble. They are also likely to be introverts. Similar characteristics are often shown by people having long and thin ears too.

If the ears are of medium size, the person could be energetic and resolute. But in case the ears are large and the earlobe is fleshy, the person may be adamant. Such a person might be a pleasure seeker too.

The sign of a strong and energetic personality is sharp ears. Such people often make a mark in society.

Meanwhile, good behaviour and rightful conduct are indicated by ears in the shape of a fleshy cashew nut. Similarly, ears folded inwards could mean that the person is talkative. Wide ears could be a sign that the person is an artist.
