Muhammad Kabeer’s brand new house that features the classy elegance of traditional architecture and the smartly executed modern facilities is in Alappuzha. This house is designed as per the interests of the family members who preferred a traditional dwelling with modern amenities. The structure is built on a 10 cents plot by leaving enough space for a spacious front yard. The sloped roof paved with roofing tiles suits the unique climate of Kerala. This feature plays a pivotal role in lending a traditional look to the exteriors.
A sit-out, formal and family living areas, dining space, kitchen with an adjacent work area and four bedrooms are arranged in this comfortable house designed in 2870 sq ft area. Each space is separated and possesses unique identities of its own.
One could enter the formal living area from the verandah. The custom-made furniture goes well with the general theme of the house. A C shaped couch and a classy coffee table adorn the family living area.
The staircase separates the dining area and the family living space. Meanwhile, a wash area too has been arranged beneath the stairway. The handrails of the stairway feature the elegant combination of wood and toughened glass.
The wall on which the TV unit has been installed is highlighted using veneer panelling and CNC design. Gypsum false ceiling in circular shape decorates the formal living area. The warm-toned lighting, meanwhile, makes the interiors look extremely pleasant and comfortable.
The dining table can accommodate up to eight guests. A pantry counter and a crockery shelf complete the dining area. The dining space too is highlighted with gypsum false ceiling.
The bath-attached bedrooms have in – built wardrobes for storage and separate dressing spaces as well.
Besides a modular kitchen with all the facilities, there is a working kitchen as well. The cupboards are done in marine plywood. Meanwhile, the counter top is paved with granite.
This scintillating house shines against the beautiful twilight sky when the highlighter lights are switched on.
