Georgekutty’s brand new house at Chambakkara in Ernakulam, Kerala, is a stunning structure that celebrates the elegance of contemporary architecture. The sloped roof is paved with cement roof tile. The amazing blend of white hue, natural cladding and glass makes the elevation look chic and stylish.
Though the house stands on 9 cents, the structure has been built by leaving enough space in the front yard. Meanwhile, the front yard has been paved with Shabad stones and grass in alternate layers. The gate and the compound wall complement the general theme of the house.
Designed in 3600 sq ft, this splendid abode has a sit-out, formal and family living areas, dining space, and kitchen with work area, five bedrooms, upper living area, home theatre and balcony. The interiors are simple yet elegantly furnished.
The formal living area has been arranged by ensuring enough privacy. The GI partition here acts as a designer feature as well. A classy oval shaped couch is what adorns the formal living area.
The dining area, meanwhile, is in double height. The pergola skylight roofing fills the interiors with pleasant sun shine. The dining unit here is readymade and matches the interiors. A prayer area too is separated here. Vitrified tiles have been used for flooring in this house.
The stairway is the highlight of the interiors. The floating style stairway has been designed by pasting teak wood panels on steel frame. This leads to the mini library area in the upper living space.
The bedrooms are simple and have all the modern facilities. The bath attached bedrooms have in – built wardrobes as well.
The ‘U’ shaped modular kitchen has cabinets done in marine plywood with laminate finish. The countertop meanwhile has been paved with nano white.
A utility space has been arranged on top of the house. The house runs on electricity produced by the solar panels that are installed on the roof. This smartly designed house looks fabulous and has all the required amenities as well.
