Thasnim Kadiri, a builder based in Kozhikode, Kerala, now owns a fabulous villa at one of his projects in Malaparambu. The colonial themed mansion stands out for its spectacular features and modern amenities. The majestic charm of the white hue and the slope roof are truly eye-catching.
Designed in 2351 sqft, the splendid abode has a car porch, sit-out, living and dining areas, kitchen and four bedrooms.
The living and the dining areas are part of the open hall. Vitrified tiles have been paved on the floor. The custom-made furniture pieces perfectly match the colonial theme of the house. The grid wall, which is mostly seen in houses abroad, has been installed on the wall beside the dining table. This area is highlighted with amazing blue colour.
The wash area, meanwhile, has been turned into a green space. This area is highlighted using classy texture paint. The mirror area beside it is decorated with elegant exposed style cement tiles.
The kitchen cabinets are furnished in a combination of pine wood and multi wood. The counter top has been paved with quartz. The pine wood false ceiling adds a chic elegance to the kitchen.
The bedrooms are classy and have been designed in unique themes. Green colored grid walls, just as in the colonial houses, are the highlight of the master bedroom. Plywood paneling was fixed on the regular wall here and then painted in green hue to make the grid wall. The bath attached bedrooms have in – built wardrobes and separate dressing spaces. The wardrobes too are built using pine wood.
The hand railings of the stairway, meanwhile, are done in the sturdy and beautiful combination of teak wood and iron. The stairway leads to the upper living area. The TV area too is arranged here.
