Sajid who works in Qatar is thrilled to show around his brand new luxury mansion that he built in his hometown in Nadapuram near Vadakara, Kozhikode, Kerala. His family consists of his wife and four children. So, they wanted a spacious home that suits the interests and likes of all the family members.
The elevation sports a contemporary fusion style that is extremely elegant. The fabulous blend of flat, slope and curved roofs that are paved with tiles are the highlight of the elevation. Meanwhile, the brown cladding walls strikes the perfect contrast against the white color theme. A wall in the car porch too is decorated with attractive cladding.
The landscape too has been designed as amazingly as the structure. The structure, meanwhile, is built by leaving lots of space in the front so that the grand elegance of the elevation could be viewed in all its glory. The front yard is separated into two sections. The drive way which leads to the car porch has been paved with granite while natural stones and grass are paved in alternate layers in the rest of the yard. Besides the main gate, a wicket gate too has been installed. The long sit out beside the car porch is extremely comfortable.
Sprawling in 5800 sqft area, this splendid mansion has a car porch, sit out, foyer, formal and family living areas, dining space, courtyard, kitchen with work area, five bedrooms, upper living area and a balcony too.
The entrance door opens to the foyer from where one could enter the formal living area. This area is designed in the detached style and it is not possible to grab a view of the interiors from here. So, the family members can enjoy their privacy even if guests are hosted at the formal living area. A wall here highlighted with glossy texture paint and is decorated with a unique show piece in the shape of a cycle.
Both the inner and outer walls don the serene charm of the white hue. Besides making the spaces look extremely vast, it fills the interiors with positive ambience. The Italian marbles grant a regal charm to the ground floor while vitrified tiles have been used for flooring in the upper storey. Moreover, wooden flooring too has been used to highlight areas like the formal living area. The custom made furniture perfectly matches the general theme of the house.
The ten seater dining table was specially imported from China. This area is part of the spacious hall. An adjacent crockery unit completes the dining space. Meanwhile, a dry courtyard has been separated in the double height area just behind the dining area. White pebbles and beautiful indoor plants are what decorate this enchanting courtyard. A huge window takes up an entire wall here. Cool breeze and natural sun shine enter the house in abundance when this window is opened. From the dining area, one could grab the view of the TV unit that has been installed in the family living area.
The transparent stairway has steps done in teak wood. Meanwhile, the hand railings feature the classic combination of toughened glass in wooden frame. The family living area is arranged beneath the stair area to save space. This area has a double height ceiling which allows amazing communication between both the floors. The stairway leads to an upper living area where a TV unit is arranged.
There are two bedrooms in the ground floor while three are in the upper storey. The bedrooms are uniquely designed to suit the likes of each family member. The kids’ bedroom is elaborately decorated and has been designed as a multipurpose space where they could study and play too. Separate study tables, bunk beds, walk in wardrobe and attached bathroom are some of the amazing facilities here. Besides, a wall has been highlighted with attractive wall paper. Other bedrooms too have lots of storage facilities like full length wardrobes and study areas.
The island kitchen boasts of all the modern amenities. The cabinets are done in marine plywood with glass finish. The counter top, meanwhile, has been paved with Korean stone. Besides a modular stove counter, there is a separate breakfast counter too. High chairs are arranged here, giving a chic look to the kitchen. The feature allows Sajid’s wife to keep an eye on the kids while they study.
The house warming ritual of this mesmerizing mansion was celebrated in December last year. Sajid too had arrived for the special day when the family moved into their dream abode. He is enjoying every moment in his new house before returning to his place of work.
