Noushad, an expatriate, has built his dream dwelling in a 17 cents rectangular plot at his hometown in Kanhangad, Kasargod district in Kerala. The elevation features the classy flat box style to overcome the spatial challenges posed by the plot. The house dons the serene white hue which is extremely pleasing to the eyes. A double-height show wall, meanwhile, breaks the monotony of the single shade in the elevation. The natural stone claddings on it grant an element of rustic elegance. The front yard too is paved with natural stones.
Designed in 4350 sqft, this luxury mansion has a car porch, sit out, formal and family living areas, dining space, kitchen with a work area and five bedrooms.
The formal living area has a double-height ceiling which makes the interiors look vaster. The semi partition in multi wood is an eye-catching element here. The family living area has been arranged on the other side of this partition. The grand elegance of the Italian marble flooring is indeed the highlight of the well-furnished interiors.
The vertical garden just beside the dining area is an interesting feature. A couch too has been set in the dining area to accommodate guests during gatherings.
The hand railings of the stairway feature the classic combination of wood and toughened glass. The stairway, meanwhile, leads to a spacious upper living area.
The modular kitchen is stylish and extremely functional too. The cabinets are done in marine plywood with PU paint finish. The countertop has been paved with nano white. The black tiles pasted on the backsplash give a chic look to the kitchen.
There are two bedrooms in the ground floor while three bedrooms are in the upper storey. The bedrooms are modern and are uniquely designed. The bath attached bedrooms have full-length wardrobes for storage.
Interestingly, a utility space has been arranged in the top floor. This area is accessible through a GI stairway. The vertical grilles on the window here are stylish and lets in lots of sunshine too.
The gypsum false ceiling and the matching LED lights give a mesmerizing ambience to the interiors. The spotlights on the outer walls highlight the beautiful features of the house at night. The family is thrilled and extremely proud that their brand new mansion is just as they had dreamed.
