Cool, comfy house in Alappuzha leaves a stunning impression

house in Alappuzha
The abode renders an enchanting visual experience with a perfect blend of aesthetics.

The newly-built dream home of Jesy Kumaran at Kanichukulangara in Alappuzha district of Kerala offers a whole lot of unique visual experience. An endearing simple facade is the hallmark of the one-storey building fashioned in modular box style set against the backdrop of the lush green gorgeous landscape. However, the interiors have state-of-the-art facilities.

Utmost precision has gone into the process of selecting the construction materials in order to keep the structure cool. For instance, the porotherm bricks used in the walls, the three-layered heat resistant roofing were some of the smart ways employed to bring down the temperature inside.

The unique roofing comprises heat-reflective exterior paint, capable to guard against extreme conditions, coated on top of heat resistive thermocol insulation sheet. Beneath the sheet lies a gypsum false ceiling. These elements sum up why the rooms are cool and refreshing even on a scorching sunny day. Aluminium louvres in the wooden finish add to the glam of the house. The toughened glass with thermal insulation fitted in between the louvres also serves as a stiff barrier to sun rays.

A car porch, a sit-out, formal living area, family living room, dining room, courtyards, kitchen, five bedrooms and an office area have been designed in 3,700 sqft area. The single-storey house celebrates the fluidity of space to its fullest where the interiors have well-defined private and public areas that are separated by courtyards. However, the spacious parking lot that can accommodate three cars at a time and a security cabin are not part of the main structure.

Mexican buffalo grass adds to the beauty and richness of the vast landscape of the front yard. The green lawn is made equally refreshing and enchanting by intelligently incorporating a fruit tree in every courtyard.

The living room, dining area and kitchen space form part of a single block, while the bedrooms are incorporated in the next block. Both the blocks are separated by a sliding glass door and windows so that the visitors inside the house can enjoy the greenery outside or directly enter the courtyard to experience the freshness.

White L-seater cushion sofa is the striking element of the guest living area. All pieces of furniture are customised to suit the interior ambiance. Attached bathroom, walking wardrobe, and dressing units are the added features in the bedrooms.

An open kitchen with new-gen facilities is situated nearby a work area and storeroom. The kitchen cabinets are sported in the acrylic finish while nano white marble adorns the kitchen counter. In the midst of the room is seated a Buddha statue that exudes positive vibes to the cooking zone.

In a nutshell, the visual elements of the house are sure to leave anyone spellbound.
