This eco-friendly Kasaragod house is amazing with its geometrical pattern

Kasaragod house
The structure has been designed by featuring multiple geometrical patterns.

Jaifer’s brand new house in the beautiful countryside of Nileshwaram in Kasaragod district, Kerala is a fine example of a classy abode that blends the unique features of the traditional and modern architectural styles. Besides the main gate, there is a traditional style padipura (wicket gate) too. A majestic wooden door that is more than a century old has been reused here. The door was preserved when the owner’s old ancestral home was dismantled some time ago.

The structure has been designed by featuring multiple geometrical patterns. Meanwhile, it is the circular shape that stands out, giving a unique charm to the house. The roof has been built using the filler slab technology. Truss roof is installed above it, which is then paved with Mangalore tiles. This unique roofing technology ensures a cool and pleasant atmosphere inside the house.

The rustic charm of the exposed laterite stones is the highlight of the exterior walls. Interestingly, the structure has been built by making the fabulous garden the center of attraction. So, the delightful views of the garden and the landscape could be enjoyed from everywhere in the house.

Designed in 4200 sqft, this fabulous mansion has a car porch, sit out, formal and family living areas, ladies’ living area, courtyard, dining area, kitchen with a work area, four bedrooms, upper living area and a balcony. The interiors have been designed in an open style. However, the spaces are smartly arranged and furnished to ensure privacy too.

The spaces have been specially designed to receive natural sunshine and cool breeze abundantly. Meanwhile, the huge glass windows ensure that there is excellent cross ventilation inside the house.

Two dining areas have been arranged in this house as the family enjoys hosting guests often. There is a formal dining area just beside the formal living area and a family dining area close to the kitchen. The stairway that is designed in three levels acts as an eye-catching design feature too. Interestingly, it is arranged as part of the spacious central courtyard. The toughened glass roof above the stair area brings in lots of sun light that naturally illuminate the interiors.

There are three bedrooms in the ground floor while one is in the upper storey. All the bedrooms are bath attached and have separate dressing areas.

The kitchen that is furnished in white and lime green color theme boasts of all the modern amenities. The cabinets here are done in multi wood with PU paint finish. Meanwhile, designer wall tiles have been pasted on the backsplash to grant a chic look to the kitchen. The quaint pantry counter acts as a breakfast table too.

The house is equipped with many eco-friendly features and techniques like the well recharging facility that utilizes the rainwater that falls on the roof. Moreover, the house runs mostly on the electricity produced by the solar plants that are installed on the roof.
