Dr Aboobacker who is a dermatologist had purchased 35 cents land in Valluvambram near Manjeri in Malappuram, Kerala to build his dream abode. The plot that had lied in multiple layers was levelled before the construction began. The family preferred to have the landscape designed fabulously in order to complement the amazing house. For that, the structure has been built by leaving enough space in the front.
The elevation of the house features a fusion style of flat–slope and curved roofs. Concealed lights too are arranged here to add definition to the structure during the night. Interestingly, the roof of the house has been designed in the shape of a ship. Meanwhile, high-quality shera boards have been used to highlight the unique roof.
Designed in 5238 sqft, this magnificent mansion has a car porch, sit-out, formal and family living areas, dining space, courtyard, kitchen with a work area, two bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor. Meanwhile, the upper floor has three more bedrooms and an upper living area too. Besides, a consulting room has been built, separately from the structure, without bothering the privacy of the residence.
The interiors are spacious and boast of luxurious features. The entrance door opens to an elegantly furnished formal living area that has been arranged by ensuring privacy. From here, one could enter the spacious dining hall where the staircase and the courtyard too could be seen.
Vitrified tiles with an Italian marble finish are paved on the floor. Meanwhile, some of the furniture pieces are custom-made while the rest are ready-made.
The beautifully designed courtyard is the highlight of the interiors. Shiny and round pebbles are paved on the floor while the indoor plants add a hint of pleasant greenery.
The bedrooms are luxuriously furnished and can give any resort a run for their money. The bath-attached bedrooms have wardrobes for storage, separate dressing areas and working space too.
Interestingly, a swimming pool is built behind the house where the family members can enjoy privacy.
The house gets drenched in mesmerizing golden light at night when the highlighter lights are switched on. The family, meanwhile, is joyous that their brand-new house has become the talk of the town.
