Anna Ben joins Kochi girls for tree lighting ceremony to spread message of child safety

Kochi: Malayalam actor Anna Ben joined hands with a group of little girls to celebrate a tree lighting ceremony here and spread the message of child safety.

The theme for the tree lighting ceremony was ‘Child Safety; Guard Our Children for Their Well-being’ and the lighting of the tree symbolised the commitment to keeping children and young people safe.

“As a socially responsible hospitality brand, Crowne Plaza Kochi took a significant step forward by advocating the crucial cause of child safety. The act of lighting the tree reflects our commitment to creating a secure environment for children”, said Dinesh Rai, general manager, Crowne Plaza, Kochi.

The evening unfolded with an array of delightful activities, including a gingerbread house, shimmery wreaths, buntings, baubles, pinecones, and the joyful resonance of carols. Santa himself made a special appearance spreading holiday cheer and adding a magical touch to the festivities.

The programme commenced with a heart-warming choir performance by children from TOC H School, setting the tone for an evening filled with joy. There were other entertainment programmes as part of the event.
