Kochi: One person was killed and four others were injured after an explosion in a company in Kakkanad on Tuesday evening.

As per reports, the incident happened in Nitta Gelatin India Ltd. around 8 pm. Preliminary investigation suggests the boiler exploded.

The deceased is a Punjab native.
