Thrissur: Sunni Yuvajana Samgham (SYS) will organise its state youth conference in Amabalur from December 26 to 29. A total of 10,000 delegates and 25000 guests are expected to attend the four-day conference. The event will focus on discussions and studies on the country's social and political development. A major attraction of the event will be the 'Ngen expo', featuring educational and employment opportunities for youth in Kerala.

SYS is organising the conference under the theme 'humanitarian politics our responsibility' as part of its plantinum year celebrations.

Dr Yahya Rhodus, a famous US Scholar will inaugurate the conference on December 27. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the citizen rights meeting on December 28 at 4.30 pm. MP Shashi Tharoor, former minister C Raveendranath, Kanthapuram AP Aboobacker Musliyar, opposition leader VD Satheesan, former minister PK Kunhalikutty, MP Shafi Parambil and businessman MA Yusuf Ali will attend the conference for various programmes.
