Kochi man dies mid flight to visit family in Bahrain

Kochi: An elderly man died in a mid-flight while travelling to Bahrain to visit his son and family. The deceased, Thomas Abraham (74), was en route from Kochi to join his son, Nitheesh Abraham Zachariah, an OICC Bahrain Ernakulam district secretary, when he suffered a medical emergency.
The flight made an emergency landing in Muscat, but despite efforts to revive him, the man was declared dead, reported Manorama News. His body was taken to KIMS Hospital in Muscat, where procedures are being completed to repatriate the mortal remains.
