Bengaluru: Two Malayali students were attacked, and one of them was stabbed, in Soladevanahalli, Bengaluru. The duo, second-year students at Acharya Nursing College, were reportedly assaulted by a group that included former students from Kerala.

The incident took place at the PG accommodation where the students were staying. The attackers, armed with deadly weapons, reportedly broke into their room and carried out the assault, according to Manorama Online.

Both students suffered injuries to the head and abdomen and were rushed to the hospital. One of them, who was stabbed, is currently in the ICU.

Initial reports suggest the attack was linked to a dispute during Onam celebrations at the college on Monday. Soladevanahalli police have registered a case against five individuals in connection with the incident.
