Kerala is expected to receive heavy rainfall over the next two days, with the India Meteorological Department forecasting 7 cm to 11 cm of rain in isolated places across the state till November 27. The department has also warned of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning during this period.

Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea, as squally weather with wind speeds ranging from 35 kmph to 45 kmph and gusts reaching up to 55 kmph is likely to prevail along and off the Kerala coast.

A yellow alert has been issued for three districts: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Pathanamthitta, indicating the possibility of isolated heavy rainfall. Authorities have advised residents in vulnerable areas to remain cautious.
