Thrissur: The Peramangalam police on Friday arrested a man who allegedly stabbed three people following a dispute over honking. The accused, Krishna Kishore of Kechery, was taken into custody from Tamil Nadu, where he had been hiding after the incident.

The attack took place around 9.30 on Tuesday, when Bineesh, his son Abhinav, and their friend Abhijith, all residents of Mundur, were returning home on two scooters after playing badminton. They reportedly honked as they approached Kishore, who was standing on his bike, leading to an argument.

Police said Kishore then pulled out a knife and stabbed all three, injuring them. He fled the scene on his bike, later abandoning it and escaping in a car. Officials received information that the vehicle had crossed the Walayar check-post into Tamil Nadu, prompting a manhunt that led to his arrest.
