Former Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharuddin's father Mohammad Azizuddin passed away in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

He was 83. Age related ailments were stated as the cause of his death by his family.

Azhar shared a photo of his father on his Twitter handle.

Azhar is currently serving as the president of the Hyderabad Cricket Association.
