Veteran medium-pacer Mohit Sharma had the dubious distinction of coming up with the most expensive bowling figures in IPL history during Gujarat Titans' (GT) match against Delhi Capitals (DC) in New Delhi on Thursday. The 35-year-old Haryana player went for 73 runs in his four overs while failing to pick up a wicket.

Mohit, who is usually a reliable death bowler, was taken to the cleaners by DC  captain Rishabh Pant in the final over of the innings. The left-hander smashed a four and four sixes as Mohit conceded 31 runs. DC ended up with 224/4 and went on to win the high-scoring match by four runs.

Kerala pacer Basil Thampi's 0/70 for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Royal Challengers Bangalore was the most expensive figures in IPL previously.
