Kozhikode: ATK Mohun Bagan outplayed Gokulam Kerala FC 5-1 in their opening match of the Super Cup here on Monday.

Liston Colaco scored a brace for the winners, while Hugo Boumous, Manvir Singh and Kiyan Nassiri also found the mark for the ISL champions. Mendi pulled one back for the Malabarians. 

The winners led 3-0 at the half-time break. 

Colaco drew first blood for the Kolkata outfit in the fifth minute and doubled the lead in the 27th.

Boumous made it 3-0 in the 45th minute, while Manvir scored in the 62nd. 

Mendi reduced the margin in the 71st. However, Nassiri completed the tally in the third minute of added time.

Gokulam Kerala next meet FC Goa on Friday (5 pm) and conclude their Group C assignment against Jamshedpur FC on April 18 (Tuesday).
