Gokulam Kerala men and women post comeback wins

Gokulam Kerala defeated Inter Kashi 4-2 at the Kalyani Stadium in West Bengal on Friday to move into fourth position in the I-League standings.

Nikola Stojanovic bagged a late brace after Alex Sanchez and Kerala player Abhijith K scored twice in the first half. For Kashi, Vikas Singh Phijam and Mario Barco scored.

Kashi had taken lead through Vikas Singh before captain Sanchez equalised. Mohammedan SC continue to lead the I-League table with 27 points from 12 matches.

Fazila fires Gokulam into top of the table
Earlier in the day, Gokulam Kerala women defeated Odisha FC 2-1 in an Indian Women's League match in Kozhikode.

Fazila Ikwaput scored a first-half brace after Indumathi Kathiresan had put Odisha ahead in the first minute. Gokulam have returned to the top fo the IWL points table with 20 points. Odisha, who have a game in hand, are second on 19 points.
