I-League: Delhi FC stun Gokulam Kerala

Kozhikode: Delhi FC stunned Gokulam Kerala FC 2-0 in an I-League match here on Saturday.

Sergio Barbosa da Silva scored both the goals for Delhi in the second half. Two-time former champions Gokulam suffered a big blow after defender Mashoor Shereef was sent off in the 39th minute.

Gokulam slipped to fifth spot with 36 points from 22 matches. The Malabarians take on NEROCA in their penultimate league match on April 7 in an away tie.

Mohammedan Sporting Club were held to a goalless draw by Real Kashmir in an earlier kick-off. Mohammedan SC lead the standings with 48 points from 21 games. Sreendidi Deccan are in second spot with 39 points and have two games in hand.
