Japanese midfielder Daisuke Sakai and Croatian defender Marko Leskovic have left Indian Super League (ISL) club Kerala Blasters. The 27-year-old Sakai scored three goals for Blasters from 20 appearances in his one-year stint.

Leskovic turned out for the Yellow Brigade in 48 games across three ISL seasons. The 33-year-old centre-back becomes the fifth player to part ways with the club recently. Leskovic, who joined Blasters in 2021, netted one goal for the club.

Blasters had confirmed the exits of Greek forward Dimitrios Diamantakos, veteran goalkeeper Karanjit Singh and another shot-stopper Lara Sharma on Friday. However, Blasters have extended the contract of Uruguayan playmaker Adrian Luna till 2027.
