Basketball: Kerala set to host Jr NBA for 10th season in a row

Kerala is all set to host the Jr NBA (National Basketball Association) programme for the 10th season in a row. Girideepam Bethany Central School in Kottayam will host the inaugural event on July 24. The Jr NBA events will take place in 14 Indian cities.

Jr NBA will then head to the Regional Sports Centre in Kochi where basketball development clinics and tournaments for youth, coaches and teachers are scheduled to take place on July 27.

Besides, 3-on-3 tournaments will be held at Girideepam and Kochi on July 26 and 27 respectively. The Assisi Vidyaniketan at Njarackal will host 3-on-3 events on July 31 and August 1.

The organisers have said that 3-on-3 tournaments for the U-12 and U-14 will be held for the first time. A national championship will be held in Delhi in September.
