Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, clinched the men's and women's titles in the 15th Mar Theophilos Trophy Inter-Medico Basketball Tournament at Thiruvalla on Monday.

In the women's final, the team from the capital defeated Pushpagiri Medical College 33-19, while their men's team edged Gokulam Medical Colleg Venjarammood, 48-47. Jenn Johnny of Gokulam and Nikhitha Davis of Thiruvananthapuram bagged the Best Players awards.

Government Medical College, Kottayam, secured third place in both men's and women's categories with 21-15 and 25-22 wins over TD Medical College, Alappuzha, and Pushpagiri, Thiruvalla, respectively.
