Favourite food

Ellum kappayum (boiled tapioca mixed with beef on bones cooked in spicy gravy) that gets me excited every time I think about it.

Best memories in Idukki

My school days were quite special. I studied at the Ramakkalmedu Sacred Heart School. The teachers who had taught my parents had taught me as well. I really adore all those special moments.

What do you miss the most about Idukki?

I really miss the beautiful climate of our place. I miss the mist, the cool breeze and the chilly weather of Idukki wherever I go. I miss the food too.

Beautiful Ramakkalmedu

Ramakkalmedu, where the stunning beauty of nature joins hands with the creative imagination of man is one of the major tourist destinations in Kerala. The scintillating 'kuravan-kurathi' statue and the beautiful nature draws hundreds of tourists every year. The distant views of Tamil Nadu, the serene beauty of the sunrise, the enchanting lightings at night and the majestic Ramakallu which is around 3630 feet above the sea level are some of the other attractions here.

The 'kuravan-kurathi' statue, which is 37 feet tall, is the largest among the twin statues in Kerala. Ramakkalmedu is 133 kilometres and 136 kilometres from Kottayam and Kochi respectively.
