Actress Shalini Sahuta says her journeys serve a deeper purpose

Television actress and model Shalini Sahuta is now enjoying a busy career. The celebrity says she acts to make a living and travels to please her soul. “I love visiting far-off places and prefer solo trips,” says Shalini.

Shalini says each of her journeys is a voyage of self-discovery. “They enable me to experience new situations which go a long way in making me a stronger person,” she explains.

Exotic Bali

The star’s latest trip was to the Indonesian island of Bali, which is one of the top tourist destinations in the world. Shalini has shared her photos from the trip on Instagram and all of them have gone viral.

A good number of tourists arriving in Bali hail from Australia as both places are quite close to each other. The scenery in Bali has several similarities with Kerala’s. Moreover, the culture of the island too resembles that of India. That makes the people of Bali show a special affection for Indian visitors.

Another highlight of Bali is that the small island holds varied attractions that can please all kinds of travellers. There are beaches, mountains, waterfalls, volcano, villages, temples and massage parlours.

However, the biggest draw of Bali is that visitors with any budget can enjoy themselves on the island. For instance, a high-end traveller can choose a luxury resort while a budget tourist also would find a number of options. If a still cheaper trip is planned, even then the traveller will not be disappointed.

The village Ubud

To enjoy the rural landscape of Bali the best head to the village of Ubud, where the attraction is the wide expanse of paddy fields.

Another popular spot in Bali is Tanah Lot Temple, which is situated in the sea. Many visitors reach the shrine to enjoy the sunrise and sunset.
