Bollywood actress Preity Zinta is enjoying winter holidays along with her husband Gene Goodenough. The bubbly actress with her trademark dimples has also shared stunning pictures from her vacation on Instagram.

One picture captioned ‘Sun, snow and smiles’ shows Preity and Gene standing close together with snow in the background. In it, Preity looks amazing in a red bomber jacket and sunglasses. A video posted by the celebrity also shows her hurling snow playfully at Gene. “Sometimes, you have to go with the flow and play with snow,” quips Preity.

Sharing a selfie with her husband and wishing a happy thanksgiving, the actress writes, “I know it’s been a rough year for a lot of people, so keeping them all in our prayers and being grateful and thankful for having a roof over our head, food on our table and family to share it with…”

Preity was recently in the UAE for the Indian Premier League cricket tournament along with her team, Kings XI Punjab, and shared with fans the precautions taken in view of the pandemic.

Winter destinations come alive

Meanwhile, travellers around the world are thrilled as the cold season has set in. The winter destinations in India too are witnessing activity. They include not only the snow-covered spots in Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir, but also places such as Kolkata.

Gulmarg in Kashmir, which is among the most popular winter tourism spots, is also covered with snow and attracts travellers. This has led to a flood of pictures from there on social media. Meanwhile, other destinations such as Kufri and Manali also have received the first snowfall of the season.
