Ever heard of 'The Storr,' a hiking hotspot in Scotland that's considered a photographer's paradise? Tourists often call it one of the most photographed locations on the globe.

A large rock formation in the area named 'The Old Man,' can be seen for miles around the island it's situated on and hosts walking enthusiasts across the globe throughout the year.

Recently, Mollywood's actress-scribe couple Unnimaya and Syam Pushkaran visited the lovely tourist site and shared a few clicks with their followers.

Sharing a picture from the trip, Unnimaya captioned it, 'A hike to remember: 'The Old Man of Storr' is part of the Trotternish ridge of Scotland highlands. It was formed following the erosion of The Storr, a peak on the Isle of Skye, because of an ancient landslide. The name derives from the fact that when seen from the front, the rocky pinnacle and The Storr behind it create the face of a haggard and craggy old man.'

Interestingly, the landscape was featured in the 2012 science fiction horror movie 'Prometheus,' directed by 'Gladiator' fame director Ridley Scott,  starring Micheal Fassbender, Idris Elba, and Charlize Theron.' Interestingly, legends have it that the 'Old Man' was a giant who lived in the area and was laid to rest with his thumb remaining partially exposed above the ground! The best time to visit the Isle of Skye, the home of 'The Storr,' is April through June and September.
