Two Indian cities feature in the world’s safest cities list

Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, is now the safest city in the world. According to a recent study by the Economist Intelligence Unit, Copenhagen is one of the safest cities in the world. The study was conducted in 60 cities. Safe places are identified based on over 76 indicators, including digital, health, infrastructure, personal and environmental safety. From India, New Delhi and Mumbai are on the list. Delhi was ranked 48th and Mumbai 50th. New Delhi was preceded by Johannesburg (56.2), while Riyadh (55.1, 49th) was placed between the two Indian cities. Mumbai was followed by Manila (52.). Upsetting the common perception that Mumbai is safer than New Delhi, on the ‘personal security front, New Delhi ranked 41st (52.8) while Mumbai ranked 50th (48.2). Copenhagen

With 82.4 points out of 100, Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, has overtaken Tokyo and Singapore to become the safest city in the world. The Danish people are called the happiest and contented people on earth. Cycling is one of the best ways to explore the city. One of the most heartwarming sights you will see in the city is the cyclists. Here, even those who go to work in corporate companies ride bicycles. You can even take the cycles on trains. It would be an experience to experiment with the cuisine, architecture, and history of Copenhagen. Colorful houses built in rows are another feature of this city.

Do visit Tivoli Gardens, National Museum of Denmark (a must-see attraction for anyone with an interest in Danish history and culture. The Canadian city of Toronto is second on the list. Toronto scored 82.2 points. What makes the city unique are its diverse sights. Toronto itself is a cultural phenomenon, with people from all over the world and many languages, cuisines, languages, foods, customs, and celebrations - these are what make this city great. As the largest city in Canada, Toronto has some of the best museums and galleries. Like any cold place, it is a paradise for those who love spring and summer.

The city of Singapore, has moved from second to third place in terms of security. Despite being one of the strongest cities in the world, Singapore continues to be waging a battle against COVID-19 today. The sights start in Singapore from the moment the plane lands at the airport. The city, which has turned even the airport into a tourist destination, is very careful about security. Some of the tourist attractions include Gardens by the Bay, Little India, and Arab Street, Singapore Flyer, Universal Studios, Botanic Gardens, Chinatown, Singapore Zoo, Changi Museum, S.E.A Aquarium, Changi Beach and Sentosa Islanda.

Sydney is the safest city in Australia. With 80.1 points, it ranks fourth among the 10 safest cities in the world. Sydney can be described as one of the most beautiful and exciting cities in the world. It is a food lovers paradise. Most people would have heard of the famous Opera House in the city. The Opera House is home to The Australian Ballet, The Australian Chamber Orchestra, Sydney Philharmonic Choirs, and the Sydney Theatre Co amongst others. Today, Tokyo ranks fifth in the world in terms of security. Tokyo is the capital of Japan and the most populous city in the world. Tokyo offers unlimited opportunities for shopping, entertainment, culture, and dining. Experience the history of the city in many excellent museums, historical temples, and gardens. Contrary to popular belief, you can find many attractive green spaces between Tokyo city center and its relatively short train journeys. Tokyo is a land of wonders. You can find ancient temples resting inside modern skyscrapers. Any tourist would love to visit this hyper-modern city at least once in their lifetime. Though it is best known for its modern and futuristic side with high-tech and skyscrapers, exploring the historical side is actually a great thing to do as you can enjoy a totally different view of Tokyo.

Tsukiji Honganji Temple is a Jodo Shinshu Buddhism temple with a unique look as the main hall of the temple was constructed with a motif of ancient Indian architecture. Tokyo has several great parks in the city center such as Yoyogi Park and Shinjuku Gyoen, but for a more chilled and peaceful atmosphere, Inokashira Onshi Park is a perfect place. Inokashira Onshi Park is located in one of the coolest neighbourhoods in Tokyo, Kichijoji area, where a lot of trendy and stylish cafes and shops gather. Also, visit the Tokyo tower.
