Vatican City
Vatican City tops the list. Located in the heart of Rome in Italy, this small country has an area of just 44 hectares. Tourists can enjoy St Peter's Basilica and Michelangelo's masterpiece on the roof of the Sistine Chapel here.

Monaco
Monaco is known for its stunningly beautiful Mediterranean coastline, luxury casinos, and Formula 1 Grand Prix races. San Marino
San Marino is a small country located within the borders of Italy in the Alpine Mountains. So, it only has a border with Italy. With an area of only 62 square kilometers, the population of this country is just 30,800! However, San Marino has one of the highest per capita incomes in the world. The country has a rich history since 301 AD. The streets that evoke memories of the Middle Ages and the iconic Three Towers on Mount Titano are some of the most fascinating sights for tourists here.

Andorra
Andorra is located between Spain and France near the Pyrenees Mountains in Western Europe. Andorra La Vella, the capital city of Andorra, is the highest-altitude capital city in Europe. Tourism is the main source of income in the country. It is estimated that 10.2 million people visit Andorra every year. The place is famous for adventure activities such as hiking and skiing. Another popular sight here is the historic Casa de la Val.

Luxembourg
Luxembourg is a landlocked, small country in Western Europe that shares borders with Belgium, France, and Germany. It has an area of just 2,586 square kilometers. The population is less than 5 lakhs. Luxembourg is also the country that topped the 2023 Quality of Life rankings. Top attractions here include Casemates du Bock, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Grand Ducal Palace, the National Museum of History and Art, wineries along the Moselle River, and Notre-Dame Cathedral.
