Believe us! These photos are from Kerala's frost-covered Munnar

Idukki: Munnar has blanketed with thick frost after mercury plunged to minus three degrees. Severe cold wave conditions prevailed in tea estates of Chundavurrai, Chittuvurrai, Lakshmi, Silent Valley and Vattavada top station. The temperature in Munnar town dropped as low as minus two degree Celsius.

The frost has turned the beautiful green landscape of Munnar into white carpets. Tourist inflow to Munnar, Marayur and nearby places has been increased, most of them being foreigners and visitors from North India.

The sudden dip in temperature has affected hectares of tea plantations in Munnar.
