Jatayu Earth Centre opens for tourists | Know the conditions for entry

The Jatayu Earth Centre at Chadayamangalam in Kollam is now open for tourists. The prominent tourist centre and nature park has been closed for months due to the Covid 19 situation. Tourists would be allowed inside the centre by strictly following the pandemic protocols.

The Jatayu Earth Centre is one of the major tourism centers in the state that was closed down during the lockdown period. The centre is now open as the pandemic restrictions have been relaxed.

Tourists can visit the iconic tourism centre which is known for the world’s largest bird statue of the mythical bird Jatayu, by following the Covid 19 protocols. The visitors have to produce an RTPCR negative test report done within 72 hours. Those who have received at least one dose of vaccine too would be allowed inside the tourist centre. Visitors have to purchase tickets directly from the counter. Online booking has not opened yet.

Up to one thousand visitors could be allowed here at a time as the centre is known for its vast and open space. The cable cars at the centre have been disinfected too.
