New Delhi: Fully vaccinated people who are traveling abroad can now download an international version of the inoculation certificate from the CoWin portal. Besides the passport number, the date of birth of the person who has taken two doses of the Covid 19 vaccine too would be mentioned in the certificate.
Follow these steps to download the new certificate.
» Login on the CoWin portal (selfregistration.cowin.gov.in) by entering the mobile number.
» Enter the passport number and the date of birth in the next page.
» Check the box close to the undertaking and click on the submit option.
» You will receive an SMS confirming your application. The certificate could be downloaded when the application is accepted.
» You could track you application status by logging in again and clicking on ‘Track Request’.
» After the application is approved, click on the ‘International Travel Certificate’ option to download the certificate.
» Only one time application is allowed.
These are the changes in the latest international version of the vaccination certificate:
» An 11- digit certificate id number on top of the certificate.
» Besides the name of the vaccine, vaccine type and the name of the manufacturers too are mentioned.
» A declaration that reads, ‘This certificate is compliant with WHO – DDCC:VS data dictionary’ is printed in the end.
» Details of the vaccination centre, ID card number and writings in local languages have been avoided.
