KTDC’s monsoon tour packages promise amazing offers

The Kerala Tourism Development Corporation has flagged off amazing monsoon tour packages to lure tourists to enjoy the picturesque locales. The monsoon packages promise interesting discounts and offers to visit some of the fabulous destinations in the state.

Visits to the wild life sanctuaries in Thekkady, the cool climate of Munnar and Ponmudi, the backwaters of Kumarakom and Kochi are included in the package. The tourists would be accommodated at the KTDC resorts at these spots.

The package for Rs 9,999 includes accommodation for two adults and two children of below twelve years at KTDC premium destination resorts like the Mascot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram, Aranya Nivas in Thekkady and Bolgatty Palace in Kochi. The package of Rs 11,999 is available at the Waterscapes resort in Kumarakam and the Tea County in Munnar.

The packages include accommodation for two nights and three days with complimentary breakfast too. Taxes are included in the charges.

You could stay at the budget destination resorts like the Periyar House in Thekkady, Suvasam Kumarakam Gateway resort in Thanneermukkam, Golden Peak in Ponmudi and the Garden House in Malampuzha for Rs 4,999. It offers accommodation for two nights and three days, with complimentary breakfast options; taxes are included.

Meanwhile, accommodation for two nights and three days at the Tamarind Easy Hotel in Nilambur and the Tamarind Easy Hotel in Mannarkad costs Rs 3,499.

It includes taxes and complimentary breakfast options too.

All the packages are available from June to September 30. However, they won't be available on Saturdays and Sundays and during Onam holidays.

Besides, there are special holiday packages for those who are leading retired lives and for expatriates too. These packages begin at Rs 13,500 and includes accommodation for three nights and four days, complimentary breakfast, evening tea/ coffee, snacks and dinner.
