Renew UAE visit visa by a month on UAEICP smart app

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced a facility to extend the validity of the visit visa by one month (30 days) through a smart app. According to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP) of the UAE, the renewal could be done on the smart app UAEICP.

Documents required for the purpose are original entry permit and a colour photo. Moreover, the passport of the applicant should have a validity of at least six months. The fee for the renewal is UAE Dirhams 750.

90-day visit visa resumed
UAE had recently resumed issuing the ninety-day visit visas for the Dubai residents’ friends and family. The friends and family members of the residents and those who are looking for jobs mostly rely on the 90-day visit visa. Visitors can now renew the visa for same duration without exiting the country. Dubai has also reintroduced the three-month-long visit visa that was cancelled last year.

Visas are issued for forty eight hours, ninety four hours and for thirty, sixty and ninety days. Besides, there is a multiple entry tourist visa that is valid up to five years. These visas could be applied via GDRF website, the smart app or through Amer Centres.
