Kerala SSLC results to be declared on May 8; Plus Two results on May 9

Thiruvananthapuram: he results of year's SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) exams – the Class 10 final exams under the Kerala state syllabus – will be declared at 3 pm on May 8, Wednesday.

Kerala Minister for General Education, V Sivankutty, said that this year's announcement arrives 11 days ahead of last year's date, which fell on May 19.

Additionally, the results for the Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary examinations (Plus Two) will be disclosed on May 9. Notably, the Plus Two results were released on May 25 last year.

This year’s SSLC exams began on March 4, for which 4,27,105 students had registered. There were 2971 exam centres, of which 2995 were located in Kerala, seven in the Gulf region and nine in Lakshadweep. Answer-sheet evaluations occurred between April 3 and April 20 at 70 locations across Kerala. Subsequent processes, such as tabulation and grace mark entries, were concluded at the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan, Office of The Commissioner of Government Examinations.

In the Higher Secondary exam, a total of 4,41,120 students participated, among them 2,23,736 boys and 2,17,384 girls. Answer sheet evaluations took place from April 3 to April 24, with approximately twenty-five thousand teachers engaged in the Plus One and Plus Two exam evaluations at 77 camps statewide.

For the Vocational Higher Secondary regular category, 27,798 students registered for the second-year examination, while 1,502 students enrolled under the private category.
