New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has opened registrations for its undergraduate and postgraduate healthcare programmes for the academic year. Students can now apply online for various courses, including nursing and paramedical programmes, across multiple AIIMS centres.

Applications for UG programmes can be submitted at https://bsccourses.aiimsexams.ac.in, while PG aspirants can register at https://msccourses.aiimsexams.ac.in. The deadline for basic registration is May 7.

The admission process involves four stages: basic registration, code generation, final registration, and the entrance examination.

The registration is applicable for programmes such as B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic), B.Sc. Paramedical, M.Sc. Nursing, M. Biotechnology, and other M.Sc. courses.

According to the official schedule, the notification on acceptance of basic registration will be published on May 9, followed by a correction window from May 9 to 12. Candidates can generate their registration code until May 15, which is also the deadline for final registration.

All entrance exams will be conducted online. The B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing exam will be held on June 1, with results expected on June 6. The B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) exam is scheduled for June 21, and B.Sc. Paramedical on June 28. Results for these will be announced on June 27 and July 4, respectively.

These programmes are offered not only at AIIMS Delhi but also at 17 other centres, including Raipur, Rishikesh, Bhopal, Bathinda, Bhubaneswar, Kalyani, Deoghar, Gorakhpur, Jodhpur, Bilaspur, Nagpur, Mangalagiri, Patna, Bibinagar, Raebareli, Guwahati, and Jammu. Reservation policies will apply as per Central Government norms.

A total of 1291 seats are available for the B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing programme, which is open only to women. The Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course is offered exclusively at AIIMS Delhi with 50 seats. Paramedical courses include specialisations such as Optometry, Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology, Dental Hygiene, Dialysis Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Operation Theatre Technology, and many more.

The application fee is ₹2000 for candidates from the General and OBC categories. It is ₹1600 for SC, ST, and EWS candidates. Differently-abled candidates are exempted from paying any fee.

AIIMS continues to offer world-class education at a highly subsidised cost. The annual tuition fee for B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing is ₹600, and ₹300 for paramedical courses.

Hostel facilities are available at all centres, except AIIMS Rishikesh, Bhopal, and Bibinagar. However, students enrolled in the Post Basic B.Sc. The nursing course will not provide hostel accommodation.

The registration window for M.Sc. and M.Sc. Nursing programmes remain the same as those for undergraduate courses. These postgraduate programmes are available across 14 AIIMS centres, including Delhi, Raipur, Rishikesh, Bhopal, Bathinda, Bhubaneswar, and others. Specialisations include Biotechnology and multiple clinical and lab-based disciplines.
