Kochi: ‘Lokame Tharavad’, the contemporary arts exhibition organised by the Kochi Biennale Foundation in Alappuzha and Kochi has won the ‘Exhibition of the Year’ award at the India Arts Awards instituted by the HELLO! magazine.

Renowned artist Bose Krishnamachari, who is also curator of the event and president of Biennale Foundation, too had won the award for the ‘Curator of the Year’. Artist Indu Antony who participated in Lokame Tharavad bagged the ‘Art Book of the Year’ while Sajan Mani won the ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year’ award.

The Hello! India Arts Award has been instituted by RP Sanjeev Goenka group to honour the best works and artists in the Indian art and cultural scene.
