Why Manju Pillai was not comfortable sharing space with Surabhi

It's time for some 'roll-on-the-floor-laughter' moments when you have some of the best comedy artists have a go at one another.

That's what happened when actress Manju Pillai and National Award-winning actress Surabhi Lakshmi turned up at Mazhavil Manorama's chat show Nakshathrathilakkam.

When asked if Manju Pillai was caught in any not-so-comfortable situations, she replied, “So far, I never had any bad experience. But if I am not comfortable, I would say no. One should react when such a situation arises.”

Later, when the anchor revealed that Manju Pillai has to share the space with Surabhi, she said she was not at all comfortable with Surabhi and even threatened to walk out of the show.

Soon after Surabhi arrived at the show and the anchor sought to resolve the issue but Manju Pillai jokingly said, “You know why I am angry with her. Both of us are comedians but she bagged the National Award and here I am.” She then bursts out laughing.

Surabhi, who was not to be left behind, quipped, “You have a cinematographer and director at your house, you should have made a good movie at home itself.”

For those of you who don't know, Manju Pillai is married to director Sujith Vaassudev whose latest movie Autorsha is set to hit the screens.
